Compensation Policy
How compensation is assessed for lost or physically damaged submitted items.
This Compensation Policy explains how Concept Grading handles compensation where a card is lost or damaged. It is read together with our Terms of Use and Submission Terms & Conditions. Compensation for a card is separate from any refund of grading fees, which is dealt with in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy.
1. Scope
This policy covers compensation for the loss of, or damage to, a card while it is in connection with our grading submission service. It does not cover refunds of grading fees, which are dealt with separately in the Refund & Withdrawal Policy.
2. How Compensation Works
Where compensation applies, it is assessed on a per-card basis and is limited to the maximum coverage available under the Grading Service selected for the affected card. Concept Grading remains your point of contact and manages the investigation and resolution. Compensation is assessed once our investigation is complete and responsibility has been established.
3. Being Finalised
The detailed terms of this policy — including how a lost or damaged card is assessed, the coverage limits for each Grading Service, and how compensation is provided — are being finalised together with our legal advisers and will be published here once confirmed. In the meantime, any loss or damage is handled by our team on a case-by-case basis. If your card has been lost or damaged, please contact us using the details below and we will manage the investigation and resolution.
