Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Grading-fee refunds, store credit, withdrawals and cancellations.

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Refund & Withdrawal Policy explains how grading fee refunds, store credit and withdrawals are handled for submissions made to Concept Grading. It is read together with our Terms of Use and, once submitted, our Submission Terms & Conditions. Compensation for loss or damage of a Submitted Item is governed exclusively by our Compensation Policy and is not dealt with under this Policy.

1. Scope

1.1

All grading submissions made through our services are subject to this Refund & Withdrawal Policy. It covers grading fee refunds only, and how withdrawals and cancellations are treated. Approved grading fee refunds are issued as store credit (GEMs) unless stated otherwise below. It does not cover compensation for lost or damaged Submitted Items, which is governed by the Compensation Policy.

2. Store Credit (GEMs)

2.1

Approved grading fee refunds are issued as store credit (GEMs), credited to your Concept Grading account for use towards our services. Compensation for lost or damaged Submitted Items is not issued under this Policy; it is determined under the Compensation Policy.

3. Voucher Refund / Re-Grade

3.1

If you choose to re-grade a card with a different grading company, or to apply your submission towards an alternative grading service, a refund will be provided as a voucher (store credit) applicable towards that re-grading or alternative grading submission.

4. Cash Refund Requests

4.1

If you request a cash refund of an eligible grading fee refund instead of store credit (GEMs), a 15% administrative fee applies to the refunded amount. This fee applies only to grading fee refunds and never to compensation paid under the Compensation Policy.

5. Withdrawal & Cancellation

5.1

Once a submission has been accepted and logged into our system, the grading fee is non-refundable.

6. Rejected / Non-Gradable Cards

How grading fees are treated when a grading company returns a card without assigning a grade is being finalised across all of our grading partners and will be published here once confirmed. In the meantime, these cases are handled by our team on a case-by-case basis — please contact us using the details below.
